How we take care of each other — and the spaces we share.
For remote workers
- 01
Respect the space and everyone in it
Cafés are shared spaces — not private offices. Others are there to have a coffee, chat, or rest. You are welcome, but you are not the only user of the space.
- 02
Consume proportionally to your time
One hour, one coffee. Two hours, maybe a snack. Staying four hours with a glass of water is not fair to the place providing you space, electricity and WiFi.
- 03
Free up tables during peak hours
If the café fills up, consider sharing your table or moving on. Read the room.
- 04
Headphones are your best allies
Video calls in busy cafés are disruptive. Use headphones, speak quietly, and if it's a long call, consider whether this is the right place for it.
- 05
Respect the space's policy
If the café has rules — no-laptop areas, time limits, minimum spend — follow them. These rules exist to keep the space sustainable for everyone.
- 06
Leave the space as you found it
Tidy your table before leaving. Dispose of your rubbish.
- 07
Rate honestly and kindly
Your reviews directly impact cafés and other users. Be honest — but remember that behind every café there are people working hard.
For café partners
- 01
You don't need to be a coworking
AO doesn't ask you to transform your café. We ask that you be transparent about what you offer.
- 02
Clear communication is everything
If you have rules, communicate them visibly and kindly. Our community respects clear rules.
- 03
Remote workers are loyal customers
Those who work from cafés regularly choose based on experience and feeling welcome.
- 04
Community feedback is a gift
AO reviews are a direct channel to your audience. Use feedback to improve.
- 05
Partnership is a two-way street
By joining AO, you gain visibility with a qualified community. In return, we ask for honesty and hospitality.
